LEGACY

Four decades ago, Los Angeles native Maggie Antoine, a third-generation Sansei, began her culinary venture.

Fueled by her passion and Japanese-American (JA) heritage, she crafted a signature JA chicken tender recipe. Initially serving Japanese bento boxes to tour buses, she soon expanded her clientele to include film production crews and corporate offices across the city.

In the late 1990s, Maggie and her sister Reiko Clark took their culinary vision to Atlanta, where they opened their first store. Their dedication led to multiple awards and a successful franchise. After a prosperous collaboration they made the strategic decision, and sold their interests and returned to Los Angeles. They have since embarked on reinventing their family-run concept, led by their son and nephew, Noah Clark.
